Rachel Maddow, “Dyke”
I really like Rachel Maddow, and the fact that she’s a lesbian is neither here nor there, as well as common knowledge. But did you know she was a “dyke”, as well? It’s true.
The photo below is of a 21 year old Maddow being interviewed by Out magazine after being the first “out” lesbian to win a frickin’ Rhodes Scholarship! (member when that stuff used to matter?)
In the interview Maddow says, among other things, “…blah blah blah, so much of my political involvement is tied up in being a dyke.” Well. It’s so retro to remember back when people had to be defensive about their sexual orientation….takes me back.
She’s always seemed really smart and I enjoy her new show (even though it’s a little boring), so I guess I shoulda known she was all educated up and whatnot— but Damn! Stanford Grad, Masters from Oxford in Political Science, Rhodes fucking Scholar, that’s Rachel Maddow. (Just by comparison and never wanting to miss a chance to piss on Sarah Palin, the prom queen attended five colleges is six years before finally obtaining her B.A. in journalism from the Idaho State…. And oh yeah, she wants to run the country.)

I am happy in my relationship of nearly 25 years but I must admit to a sigh or two every night when I turn on the Rachel Maddow show. She is more than brilliant. I haven’t found a correct word yet. She sets an example. I am so proud of her. She makes ME a better person and makes ME like ME more.
Thanks Rachel for all you do. You have no idea how many you have helped.

Can’t stand her. when I hear her voice I want to throw myself off of a roof. She thinks she is witty, but she is NOT. She is boring and annoying. I have nothing against gay or lesbian people… AT ALL. I only came here to confirm my suspisions… She is just plain annoying and a complete fool. I hate how she tries to use “dry” humor. She is so far beyond DRY.

Smart is sexy regardless of ones orientation…and home girl is hella smart. I think she kicks ass. She’s cute, active, and very smart. She’s a good journalist and I enjoy her show. Anyways you should try not to judge someone you’ve never even met, you dont know them or there situation. try to keep an open mind everyone. and its amazing we have a black president. hopfully in my lifetime i can see a strong educated woman in office.

I Love The Rachel Maddow Show.. she is so fvcking smart, and it’s the sh|t when she calls out all the politically correct big time gangsters around the nation.. I never knew she was gay and I refuse to judge ppl by their look/style but I can’t say the thought never crossed my mind.. Shocking to see it is true here on the web.. Too bad, I was hoping that once I achieve fame and multimillionaire status that I could woo and whisk her away for a night(s) she would never forget! All that intelligence turns me on sometimes
