Conservative columnist George Will has choice words for Richie Rich in todays’ Washington Post:

Under the pressure of the financial crisis, one presidential candidate is behaving like a flustered rookie playing in a league too high. It is not Barack Obama.

 
Channeling his inner Queen of Hearts, John McCain furiously, and apparently without even looking around at facts, said Chris Cox, chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, should be decapitated. This childish reflex provoked the Wall Street Journal to editorialize that “McCain untethered” — disconnected from knowledge and principle — had made a “false and deeply unfair” attack on Cox that was “unpresidential” and demonstrated that McCain “doesn’t understand what’s happening on Wall Street any better than Barack Obama does.”

McCain’s new message is going to center around trying to make it look like Obama is a corrupt politician and somehow complicit in the recent economic meltdown, while heroic plane crasher and ultimate Washington insider, John McCain is a reformer out to “change” Washington.

Now, if Bambi and his team could just put out shit like this, the election wouldn’t even be close. Obama needs the killer instinct. This had has it.

This is CLASSIC!

Bill Clinton was on Letterman last night and gave what can only be described as a tepid endorsement of Barack Obama— didn’t seem to want to even mention Obama’s name. BUT what he did want to mention was Hillary— a lot. The former POTUS went on and on and on and on about his wife, which is cool— I guess.

But in what can only be described as cosmic fate, the finest comedian in country, Chris Rock was booked to follow Clinton. And he had a few words for the former president; primarily it was this: HILLARY LOST!

Plus a great bit about Sarah Palin killing “mooses” and Michael Vick killing dogs.

Dear John,

I know how you like to brag that you are a war hero on one hand and cry like a little bitch on the other. But one of your main tenements recently has been that families are “off-limits”, and you whine incessantly about the coverage of your new main squeeze, Sarah Palin. I’m wondering did you mean only Republican families are off-limits? I ask because your campaign is now going after Joe Biden’s son— directly.

Can you site for me any example of the Obama campaign committing the same sin? Or are you just a plane crashing, bottom of your class, adulterous, gold-digging, flip-flopping senile old man who will do or say anything to win?
