Joe the Plumber: Obama ‘Well-Spoken’ and ‘Tap Dances Like Sammy Davis Jr.’ (VIDEO)

with one comment

Where to start? Yeah, Katie Couric does seem to get first crack at all the nut-jobs and “Joe the Plumber” is no different. In his first interview since being made famous in last night’s debate, “Joe” had a chit-chat with Katie Couric in which he tell the anchor that Obama is “well spoken” and that he “tap dances like Sammy Davis Jr.”

What the fuck? Now, if you are wondering whether or not you read that right, you did. “Joe the Plumber” thinks that Limbaugh’s magic negro  is both a good tap dancer and speaks well, too!

Fey Reprises Palin Role for SNL to Devastating Effect (VIDEO)

without comments

If you didn’t get a chance to catch SNL last night, Tina Fey did her Palin impression again against Joe Biden in the VP debate. Best bit: marriage is between two unwilling teenagers.

Also, a nice reference to her Miss Alaska talent competition flute playing (That video can be seen here.)

Last night’s SNL skit can be seen here.

McCain Plans to Get Nasty

without comments

Desperate to turn the race around in the remaining month, the McCain team is planning on “taking the gloves off” for the remainder of the race. Lowlights will include a slew of negative commercials to begin broadcasting after Tuesday night’s debate, spreading already disproven lies about Obama’s tax plan and former tax policy votes in the Senate, and general attacks on Obama’s character.

After Debate, Obama Widens Lead

with one comment

Via Shattermatch: Two days after a presidential debate many commentators scored as a tie, it’s beginning to look like the public saw things differently, as several polls show a small but significant post-debate boost for Barack Obama. A USA Today/Gallup poll released Sunday showed 46 percent of debate-watchers believed Obama outperformed John McCain, while just 34 percent said McCain got the better of the exchange.

Thirty percent of debate-watchers said they had a more favorable opinion of Obama following the debate, compared with just 14 percent who said their opinion of him had worsened.

Respondents whose opinion of McCain changed as a result of the debate were evenly split, as 21 percent said their view of McCain had improved because of it and 21 percent said it had worsened.

The poll surveyed 701 adults who watched Friday’s debate, and all interviews were conducted on Saturday.

Real Reason McCain Wants Out of Debate…

without comments

…the prom queen ain’t ready for the VP debate.

McCain supporter Sen. Lindsey Graham tells CNN the McCain campaign is proposing to the Presidential Debate Commission and the Obama camp that if there’s no bailout deal by Friday, the first presidential debate should take the place of the VP debate, currently scheduled for next Thursday, October 2 in St. Louis.

Update: Debate is On! Barry F*cked up

with 2 comments

Obama’s team has responded to McCain’s cry for mercy and it ain’t pretty. Basically they had this to day: See you Friday, bitch!

Or in political speak courtesy of the Obama camp: “The debate is on”, said a senior campaign official.

Now look for team McCain to claim, “Obama wants to win more than he wants to fix the economy.” “Obama isn’t bipartisan”, etc. etc.

You know, Team Bambi really walked into this one. By calling McCain early this morning to ask about issuing a joint statement, Obama has given the McCain team an opening to make this debate about something other than the economy. Namely, Obama. Which is what they want.

They don’t want to talk about issues and now they don’t have to. Now they’ll get to spend the next two days talking about Obama.

In the end Barry will have created this mess himself. As I’ve said before, he just don’t got that killer instinct.

McCain Playing Politics with Not Playing Politics

without comments

Let me explain. Obama called McCain at 8:30am this morning to suggest he and McCain issue a joint statement with regard to the current economic meltdown. Stung by recent polling that shows him getting his ass kicked, McCain took six hours to respond to Obama and agreed to the idea of a joint statement. MINUTES later the little bitch took to the podium himself calling for what? a pause in campaigning and desire to work with Obama in a bipartisan way to solve the economic crisis.

In other words, he stole Obama’s idea, came out to the press solo and made it look like the whole thing was his idea.

In addition, McCain is crying uncle on the debates, knowing full-well he’ll get his ass kicked this friday with the nation so entirely focused on economic issues. Although the debate is to focus on national security, look for the questioners to turn every “national security” question into an economic question. That’s a debate McCain will lose. As such, he don’t want to play.

If the Obama team falls for this stupid shit and agrees to postpone the debate, they deserve whatever they get…

The Pitbull Bitches Out

without comments

Seems Palin is all bark and no bite, and even then not so much. The Obama and McCain camps have agreed to debates that will include a much more free-wheeling style of questions and answer and sparring than most other Presidential debates.

Yeah, ‘cept Palin totally bitched out on the same process for the VP debates. The pitbull and her handlers were scared to let her go bare knuckled against Joe Biden and insisted on a more formal, structured debate that will allow much less opportunity for free-wheeling direct exchanges between the running mates.

McCain’s team was up front about the fact that they are total pussies. They were “concerned” that a loose format could leave the Prom Queen at a disadvantage against Joe biden. Gee, do you think? Why, she could just go on about how she lives next door to Russia and shit— I’m sure that’d work.

First she’s afraid of the press, then she’s scared to cooperate in the Troopergate investigation, now she’s scared of Joe Biden. A pitbull in lipstick? More like a  chihuahua in drag… either way, she comes up bitch.

Whoops. McCain Says Mayors and Governors Can’t Lead

with one comment

Classic.

This past spring when Grandpa Simpson’s campaign was in the drink and the GOP nomination was a slug-fest between Romney and Giuliani, McCain is seen here whining that:

“I am prepared. I am prepared. I need no on-the-job training. I wasn’t a mayor for a short period of time. I wasn’t a governor for a short period of time.

Fuck you, John McCain.
