Fox News Metric: Palin Wins Debate, Her Flag Pin Was Bigger (VIDEO)

with one comment

Yesterday morning Fox News declared Palin the “hands down winner” of the VP debate due partly to the fact that her lapel flag pin was “about three times the size” of the one worn by America hating commie, Joe Biden.

Insinuations about Biden’s patriotism aside, Fox failed to note that Palin’s “pin” was in fact a jewel adorned broach, an item of jewelery usually worn by women— which may explain why Biden wasn’t wearing one.

Moreover please note that in the Presidential debate, America loving patriot John McCain was not wearing a flag pin at all, while the anti-American Muslim, Barack Obama was.

On that day Fox News failed to declare Obama the winner based on the fact that he was wearing a pin and McCain was not.

John McCain Selling One of His 12 Mansions

without comments

Man, things really must be getting tough out there. When a man who claims that the fundamentals of our economy our strong needs to put one of his twelve mansions on the market for a mere $12 million, you know people are hurting.

(Many photos of the estate here.)

McCain in 1998: “Is bin Laden Really that Bad?”

without comments

Well, this is disconcerting. Mr. ”I’ll follow him to the Gates of hell, but not into Pakistan” didn’t really think bin Laden was really all that bad back in 1998, and wondered about the consequences of declaring war on terrorists.

McCain Camp Pushing Pre-Election Wedding?

without comments

New rumor is that that the McCain team is pushing for a pre-election wedding between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston. I just don’t believe it but here’s the story:

Inside John McCain’s campaign the expectation is growing that there will be a popularity boosting pre-election wedding in Alaska between Bristol Palin, 17, and Levi Johnston, 18, her schoolmate and father of her baby. “It would be fantastic,” said a McCain insider. “You would have every TV camera there. The entire country would be watching. It would shut down the race for a week.”

There is already some urgency to the wedding as Bristol, who is six months pregnant, may not want to walk down the aisle too close to her date of delivery.

As I’ve said before I think there is no way this happens, but I guess you never know.

Why Won’t McCain Release His Medical Records?

without comments

John McCain claims to put “country first” in advertising designed to convince people that he should be President of the Unteid States. Like any product you market, always accentuate the positive and don’t talk about the negative. Is that why McCain, who is 72 years old and has had cancer 4 times— let me repeat that: HAS HAD CANCER FOUR TIMES– won’t release his medical records?

John Mccain’s four bouts with cancer have been with malignant melanoma a deadly skin cancer with a 40% recurrance rate. Moreover, survival and mortality rates in this type of cancer are judged in 5-year survival rates. As in “an 80% chance of surviving five years”, an “40% chance of survival for five years”, etc.

I know McCain’s wife, Cindy, hides all her income tax statements and refuses to release them to the public under any circumstances. Imagine if Obama or Kerry or Gore tried such a stunt? Picture the media’s reaction.

However, that’d be a purely political issue. John McCain not releasing his medical record puts the entire nation in the dark. Regardless of your political party you have a right to know the medical condition of the man (72 years old or not. Four time cancer survivor or not) who could possibly be the leader of the free world for as many as eight years. A man who puts the good of the nation above his personal desires for power would release these records.

Moreover, considering that McCain’s VP is universally seen as wildly unqualified to run the nation makes McCain’s records all the more relevant. Please contact your local and national media outlets to request that they ask four time cancer patient John McCain why he refuses to release his medical records.

McCain’s Chief of Staff is Like Totally Gay

without comments

This seems kinda big. John McCain, opposer of gay rights, champion of intolerance, has a gay chief of staff. Mark Buse is not only gay, but super-on-fire flaming. Reports are trickling in that Buse likes to have raging sex parties and has a sling in house (located in the closet, of course! Oh the irony…). Long time homophobe and massive hypocrite John McCain is supposedly fully aware. Details here:

While McCain voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment, he supports amending state constitutions defining marriage as between a man and a woman. McCain knows our country needs everyone who wants to serve in the military and he knows that DADT is wrong, yet he swings to the right on repealing it.

Worst of all, and a demonstration of his inability to act rationally and with the country’s best interests at heart, he picked someone who, if she becomes president (very likely), will be the most homophobic in American history.

That’s right, Buse, self-hating gay man, is working his ass off to get Sarah Palin, a person who belongs to a  church that believes homosexuals should be “converted”, elected to the second highest office in the land.

Full on interview with Buse’s ex-boyfriend here.

Man, I hope someone asks the prom queen what she thinks of Buse. Oh yeah, that’s right, McCain doesn’t let her speak.

Side note: I thought about doing a Chief of “Staff” joke, but decided against it.

Is McCain Going Senile? Seriously.

without comments

Let’s review:

  • October 21: John McCain announces that he believes Czechoslovakia is still a country. It hasn’t been since 1993.
  • March 18: John McCain confuses Shi’ia and Sunni. His campagin contends it’s merely a “senior moment.” (Oh. Now I feel better.)
  • April 8: He does it again.
  • June 15: McCain again announces that Czechoslovakia is still a country. It still hasn’t been since 1993.
  • July 21: To the shock of cartographers everywhere McCain notifies the world that Iraq and Pakistan share a border.
  • September 15: He notifies the world that a bailout of AIG, the mega-insurer, is off the table and he’s opposed to it. The next day, Wednesday, September 16, he’s in favor of it.
  • September 15: In response to the collapse of Lehamn brothers and Merill Lynch, McCain says, “the economy is strong.” 36 hours later her declares the economy to be in “total crisis”.
  • September 16: At a rally in Tampa Florida McCain seems confused about the purpose of the Securities Investor Protection Act. Keeps calling it “spic”, the reasons for which are still unknown.
  • September 17: McCain doesn’t know who the Prime Minister of Spain is, and seems confused about the fact that the country is located in Europe, not Latin America.
  • September 18: McCain has a 26 year history of opposing government regulation. Today he faults the failure the government to properly regulate Wall Street as a fundamental reason for the “total crisis”.

I’ve never been one to make an issue of John McCain’s age (‘cept you know, to call him Grandpa Simpson every chance I get), but I am seriously starting to wonder about his mind. He’s always been a cranky old man, even when he wasn’t. But now he seems to be getting confused quite a little bit, and has developed a less than a casual relationship with reality. Should we be worried? President *shudder* Palin, anyone?

They All Look Alike To John McCain

with one comment

…either that or he’s seriously as stupid as Sarah Palin.

In what the associated Press is describing as “bizarre” John McCain this morning seemed to rule out Spain as an ally to the United States.

Seems grandpa Simpson was being interviewed this week by a Spanish news outlet, during which time he “refused” to answer whether or not he would meet with the prime minister of Spain.

“Would you be willing to meet with the head of our government, Mr. Zapatero?” the questioner asked.

From the AP:

McCain proceeded to launch into what appeared to be a boilerplate declaration about Mexico and Latin America — but not Spain — pressing the need to stand up to world leaders who want to harm America.

“I will meet with those leaders who are our friends and who want to work with us cooperatively,” according to one translation. The reporter repeated the question two more times, apparently trying to clarify, but McCain referred again to Latin America.

Finally, the questioner said, “Okay, but I’m talking about Europe – the president of Spain, would you meet with him?” The Senator offered only a slight variance to his initial comment. “I will reunite with any leader that has the same principles and philosophy that we do: human rights, democracy, and liberty. And I will confront those that don’t [have them].”

One theroy from John Marshall of TPM:

The great majority appear to think the McCain was simply confused and didn’t know who Zapatero was – something you might bone up on if you were about to do an interview with the Spanish press. The assumption seems to be that since he’d already been asked about Castro and Chavez that McCain assumed Zapatero must be some other Latin American bad guy.

Spain has been a member of NATO since 1982. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization embodies the principles of collective defense— an attack on one is an attack on all. Seems John McCain should know the countries for which we are honor bound to go to war for.

He doesn’t. Not good for a guy running on his foreign policy “experience” to not even know one of the 19 members of NATO.

But me, I say we should give John McCain a break, I mean first he confuses Shiite and Sunni, and now this. Let’s face it, the closest he ever gets to any of these brown people is when he’s asking one of the maids in his seven mansions for more ice-tea, or to clean his $500 loafers,or to adjust his pillow or whatever.

McCain’s Priorites: Palin First, America Second.

without comments

In what only be described as a stunning failure of judgement, Newsweek is reporting that John McCain has taken his top national security and counter-terrorism expert and reassigned him to Palin’s Troopergate scandal.

Edward O’Callaghan’s reassignment demonstrates how seriously the McCain campaign takes Palin’s scandal, how they’ll do anything to win, and most of all how little they actually care about protecting this nation. It’s tantamount to getting a top secret report entitled, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike the U.S.” and then going on vacation.

Moreover, Palin has chickened out in even talking to the bi-partisan commission investigating her crimes and will instead hide behind John McCan’s skirt.

Hell Freezes Over

without comments

Here’s a link to Karl Rove sayig the McCain lies have gone too far.

Karl Rove! Can you fucking believe it? That’s how bad McCain’s bullshit has become— a guy who engineered the election of a drunken, coke-addled son of a president through lies, smears and intimidation (not to mention being a traitor), thinks John McCain has gone too far!

This is the equivalent of the Devil telling Hitler “Whoa. I’m all in for bad shit and stuff, but you just don’t know when to stop…. I’m, uh, due back in hell early tomorrow morning, so I really should be going, but uh, I just don’t want any part of this.”

In our next video, monkeys actually do fly out of my ass.

I mean, Karl Fucking Rove…..

Wall Street on The Brink

with one comment

In a weekend that can only be described as stunning, top yuppies from all over the world met this weekend in super-ultra-heavy-duty talks to try to figure out how to clean up the mess they’ve made without destroying the world.

So did they succeed? Kinda.

Bank of America will buy Merill Lynch for $50 billion and Lehman Brothers will fall into bankruptcy. What will happen to the likes of Washington Mutual and AIG? They’ll fail later. But shhhhh…. for now we’re pretending like this may be the bottom.

The Fed has told the wayward financiers and captains of industry that they’re on their own and whatever happens happens. This may sound harsh, but fact of the matter is that piece mealing together bailout after bailout at tax payer expense wasn’t working out so well. The Fed wants to take a tough love stand, and this it.

Asian markets are closed Monday, so we have to wait for the European markets to open before we find out whether or not the world’s going to end.

What would Sarah Palin do about this mess? What does she think about Lehman’s cross-exposure to risk among credit-default swaps and other Wall Street derivatives? We’ll never know ‘cuz John McCain won’t let her talk to anyone who might ask questions that reveal the fact that she doesn’t have a fucking clue what she’s talking about.

What’s John “I don’t know much about the economy” McCain gonna say about all this? Whatever his handlers tell him to.

You Know This Already, Right?

without comments

Cindy McCain is a junkie. Back in the day, the heiress was was so strung-out that she was stealing pills from her own charity in order to supply her habit. In fact, these pills were meant to go to, like third world starving children or something. The princess didn’t seem to mind, she jacked the pills on got her high on.

When the hammer came down, Princess Cindy got what all rich people get— off. No trial, no jail, no nothing. There was a heavy-duty DEA investigation, but through mass layers and big-time cash the poor little rich girl got off with a fine and— get this: the charity she formed had to be disband. That’s right, nothing happened to Cindy, but the poor African kids got fucked.

Of course John McCain was shocked, shocked! to learn that he wife was strung-out. Yeah, right. He’s either a liar or a terrible husband. I’m mean how could he not notice his cunt wife was a junkie?

This morning’s Washington Post has a really big piece on the whole affair that comes in at just over four pages (and five years too late). If you want to click on over and check out some old news, it’s here.

As always, please ask yourself what would happen if Michelle Obama was so strung out on drugs that she was stealing from a charity to support her habit?

(Of course Michelle Obama ain’t white or rich, and most of all she’s not a Republican— they get away with this shit, we don’t. Asking yourself why that is may be a better question.)
